Overview:

We are marine is an online portal where you can buy a range of clothing & accessories for sailing, paddling and generally being out and about on the water. We were approached to develop a brand story for the business, and work closely with the SEO team to write engaging, keyword laden product descriptions for the website too.

Approach

As a competitive iron man, a sailor and a paddler, the three owners of the business brought a lifetimes worth of experience to the table. Our story focussed on this, talking to the fact the they would be sharing insight, tips & advice for people at all stages of their marine journey. Also tapping into the admirable achievement of turning your hobby into your work. Something many of us aspire to, and respect in others.

Often overlooked from an SEO perspective, the product descriptions can add significant juice to a website’s ranking. Just as important, however, is that fact they’ll be read by real life humans, at some point, just before making a purchasing decision. We took the opportunity to combine keywords about hats, waterproof jackets & neoprene gloves with vivid, enticing stories about sailing, paddling and living life to the fullest. Putting the reader in the right mindset, at just the right time.
