Holding group, Propré, wanted to launch a range of environmentally friendly cleaning products for home use, and needed some help developing the brand.
Approach
We examined the market, customers & competitors, and determined there was an opportunity for a brand that was a little bit quirky, yet contemporary and refined. A product that wouldn’t be hidden under the sink when visitors arrived. This was combined with keyword research showing the concepts of ‘natural’ and ‘healthy’ were more predominant than ‘environmentally friendly’.
The result was ‘Skoosh’ - a playful name that sounded like the act of using the product.
This sat next to ‘Naturally made for a healthier world’ – which demonstrated the environmental credentials nicely, in alignment with current terminology as revealed by the research. Next we developed the brand mark, using a lower case contemporary font and lifting the ‘o’ to create an element of fun, while the packaging design took on a fresh, calming look with different pastels for the various SKUs.
Results
Finally, we developed the various names in the product suite, and the entire, naturally made lifestyle range was launched in 2020.
